Alot of people were affected by the storm this week. Help when you can. Heres a shot of the street my GF's family lives on. Time to go out and do some man work everyone. Heres a work truck serving its purpose adding to cleared path that the locals cleared themselves.

Everyone remembers the first time they got to do some go-kart racing.  Its kind of mind blowing how you can have so much fun with so little horsepower.  Owning a golf cart is a similar kind of deal, lots of fun, packed into a simple and affordable package thats easy to maintain and operate.  Lets take a look at the rapidly growing golf cart trend thats taking America and its suburban communities by storm.

Import Alliance 2011

Racefriv took a day out of its busy  racing  drinking schedule to hit up import alliance in ATL. This one huge show, like seriously huge. Also about that taking a day off thing, well we actually didn't take a day off from drinking, which may answer some of the questions about how awful are IA coverage is, but without further ado....IA 2011.

Project: Betty White. shoes..omg...shoes

So Racefriv's project Betty White, the little AE86 that could, has finally come into its own. It been a lot of work, too much money, and has taken up way too much time. Still it was worth it by a long shot. I couldn't ask for more, it seems that every time something was improved, it just seemed.... happier. If you dont get that, well you probably haven't ever driven an AE86.

Project: Scrap Metal

So this post will be a prime example why you dont search craigslist when your bored. Here I am with the AE86 just finally getting wheels and tires for it, and of course I go and find something like this, an S13 vert.

AJC International Autoshow review

I'm going to admit right now that although I have lived in the Greater Atlanta Area for going on 7 years this is the first time Ive made it to the AJC auto show.  There are plenty of other car events in Atlanta and I'm fairly sure this particular one is not the biggest but its probably the closest we get to a grown up Auto show like Detroit or Geneva.  I'm going to stop comparing this to those grown up shows now though because it's not a very big show - more like a collection of local dealerships from major manufacturers...

Hello internet,
This is Asian Phil again and I would like to talk about my new car, also attempt to give a brief consumer review.

I grew up with rear wheel drive vehicles; I previously owned three Nissan 240sx, from mildly bolt-ons to full blown KA-T SCCA Street Mod race car. My last RWD vehicle was a G35 coupe. When I started racing religiously in SCCA 3 years ago, all I've ever driven were S2000, Miata, Porsche Carrera, M3 etc, I really don't know what to do or even have a small desire of owning/driving a front wheel drive car. Until recently, I almost make a mistake and ALMOST bought a MazdaSpeed3.

The Fiat 500 showed up at some dealerships yesterday. Not bad and most of them were manuals. Nice!

Project S2000: An Introduction

It's time to introduce another member of Frivolous Motorsports. My name is Parker, or PbUssey as some would call me. In March of 2007, I bought a 2004, Grand Prix White S2000 with tan interior. This car rocks.   Yes, that is snow on the ground.

Project: Sleepy Turtle.

So the Friv project for the month is Johns White Honda Civic cx hatch. This is sweet little car, that has seen some ups and downs. Friv is going to get it back to like new condition and were planning on keeping everyone updated on the project. So here she is today.

Find me a daily driver

Sorry this is one of those boring posts with lots of words and no video.  Here's the basic concept:  I'm looking for a nice daily driver.  New - Used I don't really care but I don't want to spent much more than about $20,000 US and if I am in that ballpark it better be new or very nearly new (still under warranty).  Hit more to find out my apparently impossible spec list (and why I have a picture of a four-wheeled frog here)

Drifting brings out the art in/of people.
