Welcome to Planet Low: SOWO Part 2

Im sure you read our coverage of the outside of the show at SOWO a couple of clicks below and now its time for the inside. I know what your thinking "wait what? That wasnt the show?" No, that was just the parking lot basically. Now on to the real show, the "actual" SOWO which is basically a SEMA show but only filled with Volkswagen's and Audi's. Hit the jump for your daily dose of illogically slammed rides.

Planet Low: SOWO Part 1

I honestly didnt know what to expect when I showed up to Southern Worthersee this year, as I have never been before nor had I ever remembered ever seeing any photos come out of the event. But a lot of my friends were going and I knew Id at least have a good time with them even if we were the only people in the town (actually that would be awesome). But my mind was completely blown. Have you ever walked into a movie theater having never heard of the movie you were seeing, cause a lady friend dragged you there, only to have your mind totally blown with awesomeness. That was SOWO for me, it was like stepping into an alternate universe. Welcome to Planet Low.

Slammed Society @ Formula D ATL

Hey everyone, Joel Lopez here! Aside from all the (interesting) action that Formula Drift brought to Atlanta. Fatlace made their way out here from California to showcase their premiere car show "Slammed Society". Taking a two year break from any action in Atlanta, Slammed Society definitely made a lasting impression in the eyes of many that were out here for the first time. Atlanta also showed that a little on and off rain wouldn't affect anything as everyone stuck through it the whole day. The whole show was definitely a success as there was a wide variety of vehicles and the placement was perfect. Situated right in between the track and the pits, the show received a ton of attention through out the day. Custom made trophies were made for the event and were rewarded during halftime to the top three cars in their respected categories. Winners of the show also received some Fatlace, Illest, and Hellaflush decals, a Slammed Society license plate frame, and cleaning supplies. The show as a whole was awesome and and a major success since there was the two year break! If you weren't able to check it out this year, definitely check it out at next years FD! Happy Birthday to the ground!

Project: Betty White. shoes..omg...shoes

So Racefriv's project Betty White, the little AE86 that could, has finally come into its own. It been a lot of work, too much money, and has taken up way too much time. Still it was worth it by a long shot. I couldn't ask for more, it seems that every time something was improved, it just seemed.... happier. If you dont get that, well you probably haven't ever driven an AE86.
