I typed  Targa Tasmania into google image, this is what I got. Turns out this is not a pic of the car at Targa Tasmania its just going to be there at some point. I think its from San Remo rally in 1981. Doesn't matter, this is an awesome picture from somewhere.  If you have never heard of Targa Tasmania you need to click here  right away. 100% worth a fuck yes especially for these guys...

Sometimes cars just give you an emotional stir you cant really comprehend. If your on this site I imagine you already know exactly what Im talking about. The image below is the ST185 Celica in the last* WRC Safari Rally. It won this rally right before Toyota  was ask to and left the WRC for good. The Safari Rally in these years were a true testament of man and machine vs. the elements.

Wekfest 2012: California Dreamin Part.2

 Before you guys go further to read the show coverage, I just want to say that I had an amazing time out in Cali. For all you people that wonder whether it's worth it to fly out to the west coast to attend "just" a car show. Well for one, Wekfest is definitely not "just" a car show and I am going to tell you right now that it is 100 percent worth it. Going out to Cali for me was more than seeing the cars though. It was hanging out with friends, meeting new friends, eating amazing food, and enjoying the beautiful city of San Francisco.

Wekfest 2012: California Dreamin Part.1

Wekfest, the ultimate car show on the west coast. I can confidently say that there is no show like it on the east coast. The venue, the cars, the models, and the people are what makes this show. I’ve always seen west coast cars in magazines and videos but never realized it was to this magnitude. When my buddy Jay aka PGKjay invited me to fly to Cali to attend the show, it was a no brainer for me. I had already passed up my chance to go out to Vegas for SEMA, so Wekfest was redemption for me. Project: Scrap Metal- Update 3!!

A lot has happened since we last talked, Whitney died, Valentines day, and someone is running for president. But really none of that crap matters (just kidding babe!). All that matters is that drift season is almost upon us and project scrap metal is well... still looking like scrap metal. GarageZero's Day Off

So recently, the GarageZero guys have befriended me (since AE-86 owners are automatically best friends for life) and they invited me to stop by the shop on their Saturday off..  I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised to see some of the most famous Atlanta area cars and there owners had come to hang as well. GarageZero asked me to take a couple of stills so I broke out the camera and grabbed the  photos below.

The SouthrnFresh @ 3FaceRacing Meet

You Never Forget Your First

Your first car that is.  Phil B here kicking off what I hope will not be a singular effort to describe in some detail my first car and the brief but very deep attachment I had to it.  I would like to invite you all to submit your own story since I think everyone can relate to a "first car" memory.

Me and mine are on the left.  I was competing in a downhill mountain bike tournament.  Sometime in the late 1990's.

Star Struck

 In the car world we live in today, there are alot of sheep. We all know what I'm talking about...forum after forum, blog after blog you see the same thing. Even we here at RaceFriv do this, you like what you like, you cant help it, but every once and a while you come across something so well built, something so perfect,  in a form you didn't even know you liked yet. It's happened to all of us at some point, and it certainly happened to me with this car. Alright were heading at warp speed down the project car highway to hell.We've done quite a bit trying to hurry and get it done before the drift season.
